Masih kelanjutan dari part sebelumnya tentang short talks atau diskusi singkat, di bawah ini ada 10 contoh percakapan singkat lengkap dengan pertanyaan dan ulasan jawabannya.
Kadang ada soal yang menyiratkan kiasan atau idiom dari respon salah satu speaker, ada juga yang meminta kamu untuk memprediksi apa yang akan dilakukan oleh salah subjek yang disebutkan di dalam pertanyaan. Selamat berlatih!

Woman: “When my clothes got a little child, I handed them down to my sister.”
Man: “Yeah, why not? It was the same in my family as well.”
Pertanyaan: What did the woman do with her old clothing?
Pilihan jawaban:
A. She gave them to her.

C. She asked her sister to help her move the clothes down to the basement.
D. She advised her sister to not wear the clothes.
Istilah “got a little child” berarti ukuran yang sudah tidak muat lagi, sehingga diberikan pada adik perempuan yang lebih kecil. Dengan demikian jawaban yang paling tepat adalah (B).
